Do you know that everything that we see around us – plants, minerals, animals – are made from elements of the periodic table and every single substance, even poisons have a power to heal? God speaks to us through every single element of nature and God has provided us with the way to heal through nature.

Law of Similars

Samuel Hahnemann, renowned German doctor and chemist, discovered the universal principle of healing known as “Law of Similars”, which states that if we match symptoms of a disease in the person afflicted by it, with the element of nature that produces a similar disease state in a healthy person, we cure the whole person.

He called this “Homoepathy” (in Latin, Homoe means “Similar” and Pathos means “Suffering”, which together translates to “Similar Suffering”).

For example, according to the Law of Similars, Belladonna can cure symptoms in a sick person similar to those it can cause in a healthy person.

Symptoms Belladonna can cause and cure…

This person is red hot! Their heat radiates, with a high fever, there is crimson redness. Often there is swelling and throbbing of affected or injured parts. Usually, the heat is concentrated in the head and torso, while the feet and hands may be icy cold. The pupils may be dilated and a drugged expression may be evident, perhaps with hallucinations of wild animals or monsters.

If we cure Fever, we cure Fear!

Many fears live deep in our subconscious mind and show up as physical symptoms so that we can be healed from our deep-seated fears.

Through Belladonna, God speaks to us and gives us the power to heal Belladonna fears when they come up.

If we are able to recognize that a person has symptoms of a Belladonna state, and give them the homeopathic remedy Belladonna, we give information to their immune system that can then heal their disease on a mental, emotional, and physical level. In this way we heal the whole person and thus gain power over our fears!

Belladonna in the Spanish Flu pandemic 1918-1919

The most severe pandemic caused by an H1N1 virus in history has been the 1918–1919 influenza pandemic referred to as the ‘Spanish Flu’. The number of deaths was estimated to be 50–100 million worldwide. Homeopathy had a remarkable success rate compared to allopathy. Belladonna was one of the remedies successfully used in treatment.

Dr. J. C. Irvine, Denver, Colorado: “… Another case had been running on for a week. It required three or four people to keep the woman in bed. Within an hour or two after Belladonna was given, the patient’s temperature was normal. After three visits, she was out of bed.”

Dr. B. W. Henderson: “… During service at Hahnemann Hospital, no case coming under treatment early was fatal. Remedies used in order of choice were Belladonna, Bryonia, Gelsemium, Phosphorus, Calcarea iodide, Arsenic iodide.”
