We were invited to join a small circle of friends for a violin and piano concerto, a private event that took place at Alex & Diana Volman’s house. Diana accompanied her beloved violinist & teacher, Ludmila on piano. Ludmila is a long-time friend and mentor to the Volman’s children. Ludmila & Diana played selections from Brahms, Schumann and Schubert and the concert was beautiful. At the get together we met Nicki, a student of Ludmila who is a violinist and studying to be a conductor. Nicki happens to be the grandson of notable Los Angeles ballet teacher Galina Morozova and we talked about collaborating.
