If internet stops working, ask host to turn modem off for a few seconds & back on again. This usually corrects the problem.

WELCOME TOUR

On the day of your arrival, Host will meet you outside of our building 1044 4th street (corner of California Ave.), Santa Monica, CA 90403 AT THE SCHEDULED TIME and will give you a short Welcome tour.

  • If you have a car: find parking on the street or park in the Public Parking structure 1136 4th street and from there walk to our building without luggage.
  • If you don’t have a car: to avoid blocking the entrance way with the luggage, Host will meet you outside of the building (closer to the corner of California Ave.)
  • Host will give you the Building Key. You will open the building door and proceed to the unit 106.
  • Host will show you how to open and close the digital lock to the condo unit. You will repeat the procedure.
  • Host will take you to your room and will briefly go over the facilities.

CHECK OUT

11 am is the official check out time. Keys and Parking Permit must be dropped into the designated “Key Bos” located in the condo corridor. 

  • Leave Keys and Parking Permit inside the designated “Key Box” drawer in the entrance ares
  • If Guests forget to leave key and Parking Permit (if apply) at check-out, they will be responsible for overnight delivery costs to return key to the Host
  • Keys will be considered lost, if not returned to Host within 24 hours of check-out
  • Lost keys will incur a $50 claim to Guest’s security deposit
  • Lost Parking Permit will incur a $150 claim to Guest’s security deposit

LUGGAGE STORAGE

As a courtesy to our guests we offer luggage storage, which must be arranged with the Host

  • On the arrival day, luggage drop off can de arranged after 10 am.
  • On the departure day, luggage must be picked up no later than 3 pm. After 3 pm a fee will apply: $25 from 3 pm till 6 pm and $50 from 6 pm till 9 pm
  • NOTE: After the official check-out time (11 am), the use of facilities are not available
BUILDING KEY

 

A Building Key will be provided to you for use during your stay.. Please keep with you at all times, otherwise you will not be able to enter the building. If you forgot the key, pease contact Host for instructions. Make sure to return the Key at time of check-out.

FRONT DOOR CODE

Code is required to lock and unlock the condo unit door. This code will be provided to you at the time of your arrival. Host will show how to use it during Welcome tour.

PARKING PERMIT

From 6 pm till 8 am, a Parking Permit is required in the city of Santa Monuca. As a courtesy to our guests, we provide a free street parking permit at the time of your arrival.

  • Find parking on the street or in the Park in the Public Parking structure 1136 4th street, which is just one block from us.
  • From there walk to our building. 
  • Host will meet you outside of the building and will give you Parking Permit with instructions
  • Return to your car and hang Parking Permit on the mirror of your car. 

BATHROOM

From 6 pm till 8 am, a Parking Permit is required in the city of Santa Monuca. As a courtesy to our guests, we provide a free street parking permit at the time of your arrival.

  • Only toilet paper (a.k.a bath tissue) may be flushed
  • All other items must be disposed of in trash cans
  • Towels: are changed daily. After each shower, drop your towel into the bathroom laundry basket and empty the basket into a laundry bin in the condo entrance. Clean towels are stored in the “Towels Box” in the condo entrance area.
  • Makeup Remover: Please do not use towels for makeup removal – please, use Makeup  Remover (provided).
  • Emptying trash can: Dispose as needed the trash can bag into the trash bin located in the entrance area of the condo. Replace the liner in the trash bag with the new liner (provided in the storage box of the condo entrance area). 
  • Hair Dryer: located in the bathroom vanity drawer.
  • Bathroom supplies: Toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, etc… are located in the bathroom vanity cabinet.

BEACH TOWELS

Beach towels are provided for our guests in the basket of the condo entry area. After use, please make sure to remove all sand from the towel and put it in a laundry bin in the entry area. 

IRON

Iron is located in the condo entry storage box.

FIRST AID SUPPLIES

Located in master bathroom wall mirror storage area

SMOKE & CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS

No smoking is allowed in this unit or around the building

  • Smoke detectors are located throughout the unit. Building maintanance sometimes intermittently set these off these alarms.
  • Carbon Monoxide detector is located in the hallway, next to the hall closet.
  • If any of these activate, exit condo & immediately contact Host

GENERAL USAGE

We ask our guests to please treat all furniture, appliances, towels, linens, electronics and eating utencils with the same care & respect as they were your own.

  • Furniture may not be moved and electrical items may not be unplugged.
  • Report any lost or broken items to Host as soon as possible after loss or damage occurs.
  • Cost to replace or repair lost or broken items may be charged to Guest’s security deposit.

WATER & ENERGY CONSERVATION

Southen California often undergo periods of drought. We ask guests to be mindful and conserving with water usage. Please do not leave faucets running and be thrifty with time when showering.
