Dr. Judy holds her book clubs on Wednesdays and when she is in town, Elena and I always try to attend. Today was one of those occasions. After the meeting ended, Dr. Judy said that she has a present for us. She pulled out of her bag a worn out hat with embroidered “Americans for Homeopathy Choice”. I jumped with surprise because I belong to the Homeopathy Action Team (HAT), which is an active branch of this organization.
HAT is a group of volunteers with Americans for Homeopathy Choice working to pass legislation to restore and protect access to the full range of homeopathic medicines which are under threat from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. In April, my team from California 36 Congressional District met with a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Ted W. Lieu asking Congress to pass the legislation.
Dr. Judy said that this hat was given to her during a health conference in Ohio and she immediately thought about us. Elena and I wondered if this was Paola Brown president of “Americans for Homeopathy Choice” who gave her the hat. Paola is a mom of three kids and holds a weekly club called “Momeopaths Insider Circle” to which Elena belongs.
This present was beyond coincidence! When things like this happen I think about what the message is from above and am sure that it will soon reveal 🙂
